This actually happened to me but not Gramps…it was Grandma!
My mom & her boyfriend at the time (not sure if they were married yet – my stepdad for 23 years now) and I went to visit my Grandma in the summer and it was very warm and humid. Gram didn’t (still doesn’t) have air conditioning and when we walked in, there she was, bra and shorts, in my teenage awkwardness I was taken aback but the ‘adults’ went about their visit like she was wearing regular everyday attire…I laugh about it now but, I’m also getting to the age where comfort is overruling fashion!
